What is the NeuroAdvantage Trainer and How Does It Work?

The NeuroAdvantageâ„¢ Trainer is a compact and portable sophisticated, yet easy-to-use device that allows you to experience both the visual and auditory aspects of the programs we have designed to improve physical, mental and emotional functioning. At its most basic level, the Trainer uses carefully designed programs of synchronized flashes of light and pulsing tones to gently guide your brain into the desires brainwave patterns. The Trainer allows you to access different states of consciousness with relative ease.

When you purchase the Trainer, you will receive a small, portable unit that will be programmed with the sessions you have selected. You will also receive a pair of headphones and a pair of photoscopic glasses. The glasses contain eight light emitting diodes (LEDs) programmed to flash at specific frequencies and intensities. We offer three different models of photoscopic glasses. The auditory programs you will hear through your headphones incorporate binaural beats and isochronic pulsed tones which have been successfully used by practitioners of meditation and others to help induce relaxation, creativity and other desirable mental states. Their effect on the brainwaves depends on the difference in frequencies of each tone. The Trainer’s auditory component also includes a paced breathing tool to help you develop the long, graceful breathing cycles that are common in mindfulness meditation.

The Trainer has a third jack to connect an MP3 or CD player to play motivating music or one or our customized CD’s that contain positive affirmations, guided visualizations and music to help you achieve your goals.
